After several months of heavily researching mormon church history, we no longer believe in mormonism and have left the church.

We do love our mormon family and friends, and hope that they will not perceive our leaving as offensive or a rejection of them. We believe that we are good people regardless of our religious beliefs, and hope that we can still have the pleasure of your association.

This was a difficult journey for us, with some painful decisions along the way. But we are happy and optimistic about our new direction.

Some decisons are hard indeed. In your journey, what was it that helped make this decision?

Re: Leaving Mormonism

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your question. For us, we decided that we could not in good conscience remain members of the church once we realized we no longer believed in it. It was not an easy decision to make, but it was the right one for us.

Re: Leaving Mormonism

That is commendable; did you take you names from the records as well? Have you found a new place to gain peace in this world? I was thinking just the other day of the children of the Leo Case family there is only about 6-8 that are still active in the LDS church. I think that is an intriguing thought: for me "what happened that the faith of the children has waned to unbelief?" That is just my thought - I want nothing more than happiness for you and Aaron and the children, and if you have found that then what more is there?
